Cyanotype Workshop

The Cyanotype Workshop aims at taking people back in time, to the era when the sheer joy of photography meant not just taking pictures with the camera, but also creating the prints in a physical form – something that was lost with the digital era. Watching a print appear in front of your eyes is like magic! And through this process, an individual plays the role of not just a photographer, but also an alchemist and an artist. While this workshop enables participants to get hands-on experience with a historical printing process, it also focuses on two very essential elements of photography -‘Creation’ and ‘Patience’. In contrast to the fast-paced world we live in that thrives on instant gratification, these processes teach people how to ‘slow down’ and to look at things in a different light with a bend of creativity!
